Our Father
Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and
Forgive us our trespasses as we
Forgive those who trespass against us; and
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil...
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The Power and the Glory,
Now and Forever,

For the victims of hurricane Katrina and their families,
as well as those who are bravely assisting them,
we pray... Lord hear our prayer.

For the sick and their caregivers, especially:

Pat Kelly, a friend of Father Sullivan

we pray... Lord hear our prayer.

For the poor and needy, we pray... Lord hear our prayer.

For the leaders of our schools, churches and governments- that they keep the commandments of God as their guide, and consider Christ's teachings in their thoughts and decisions, we pray...Lord hear our prayer.

According to John 14:1-7, 25-27

Jesus said to his disciples: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God: have faith also in me.

In my Father's house there are many dwelling places.

If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may also be. Where I am going you know the way."

Thomas said to him, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?"

Jesus said to him, " I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"
